Microlight Flying at SackvilleNene Valley Microlights operates from Sackville Farm Airfield. We offer a complete range of flight training on both SLA100 and AX2000 fixed wing microlights in a friendly club environment. Come and enjoy our excellent facilities including a 730 metre long grass runway in uncontrolled airspace, a large club house, hangarage where you are not crammed in like sardines and above all, a very enthusiastic group of like minded aviators. |

Training The school is run by Bob McMaster, CFI/Flight Examiner who is assisted by Tim Wilkinson, David D'Ath and Neill Howarth. Tim, when not flying microlights is an airline captain operating scheduled passenger services from London City. Tim, David and Neill are all very experienced aviators and are all Qualified Flying Instructors. So if you are serious about learning to fly microlights and want to make real progress, come along for a no obligation visit to the airfield and meet the team. |

SLA100 Executive We have recently taken delivery of a new, all British designed and built SLA100 Executive. This is one of the new generation of high performance, fixed wing microlights. Built by Medway in Kent, the aircraft received its CAA certification in 2007 and due to its factory build approval, allows schools to use the aircraft for full NPPL training. This is an exceptional aircraft: it is very stable, has a "glass" cockpit, a range of over 700 miles and cruises at 100 mph. We are the first flying school in the UK to operate the SLA Executive. |
